Step-Up & Step-Down DC Source Chargers and Equalizers
These units provide up to 600 watts to charge a 12V or 24 V battery systems (1 or 2 banks) from a 12, 24, 32 or 36 volt source. The single-board design incorporates state-of-the-art switch mode technology for unmatched efficiency and ultra-quiet operation. Multiple stages of filtering reduce radiated or conducted noise to very low levels. All Series are capable of charging up to two independent banks of batteries.

High-Voltage Isolated DC Source Chargers
These isolated DC units charge 12, 24 or 48 volt batteries from a 72, 110, 220 or 300 VDC power source - and battery voltages up to 650 volts are also available by special order. Also:

  • Current Mode Switching Design offers increased power and reliability in a compact package
  • Extra input and output filtering reduces EMI to extremely low levels
  • Reliability features include: an input fuse, thermal shutdown, current limiting, reverse battery hookup protection, output short circuit shutdown with automatic recovery, and an equalizing charging cycle.
  • The output voltage is easily adjusted 0.5 volts above or below the standard output voltage to accommodate special charging requirements.

BCD72 SERIES BATTERY CHARGER

The BCD72 Series Battery Charger supplies 13.6 or 27.2 Vdc from 24/32, 48 or 72 Vdc power systems for use in heavy equipment, marine, industrial, or alternative energy environments. The BCD72-12-5 version is capable of supplying 5 Volts from a 12 VDC battery system.

BCD180 DC BATTERY CHARGER

The BCD180 Series Battery Chargers features reverse input protection, current limiting, output over-voltage protection, ultra quiet low EMI operation and a wide operating temperature range.

BCD300 DC BATTERY CHARGER

The BCD300 battery charger provides up to 300 watts to charge a 12V or 24V battery system (1 or 2 banks) from a 24V, 32V or 36V source. The source and the batteries under charge must share a common ground.

BCD301 SERIES BATTERY EQUALIZER

The BCD301-24-12 is a Battery Equalizer that safely permits 12 Volts to be drawn of a 24V Battery bank. The unit is connected across the 24V battery bank, and its output is connected to the 12V midpoint of the battery bank.

BCD305 SERIES DC BATTERY CHARGER

The BCD305 battery charger provides up to 300 watts to charge a 12V or 24V battery system (1 or 2 banks) from a 12V source. Both the 12V source and the batteries under charge must share a common ground.

BCD310 ISOLATED BATTERY CHARGER

The BCD310 battery charger provides up to 300 watts to charge a 12 or 24 or 48 Volt battery system from a 110V, 220V or 300VDC source. The batteries must share a common ground but the source can be on a different positive or negative ground.

BCD315 ISOLATED BATTERY CHARGER

The BCD315 battery charger provides up to 300 watts to charge a 12 or 24 or 48 Volt battery system (1, 2 or 3 Banks) from a 24V, 48V or 72VDC source. The batteries must share a common ground but the source can be on a different positive or negative ground.

BCD600 DC BATTERY CHARGER

The BCD600 battery charger provides up to 600 watts to charge a 12V or 24V battery system (1 bank) from a 32V or 36V source. The source and the batteries under charge must share a common ground.

BCD601 SERIES BATTERY EQUALIZER

The BCD601–24–12 is a Battery Equalizer that safely permits 12 Volts to be drawn of a 24V Battery bank. The unit is connected across the 24V battery bank, and its output is connected to the 12V midpoint of the battery bank.

BCD610 ISOLATED BATTERY CHARGER

The model BCD610 DC Battery Charger charges either 12V, 24V or 48V batteries from a 110, 220 or 300VDC power source. Other battery voltages up to 360 volts are also available by special order.

BCD615 ISOLATED BATTERY CHARGER

The model BCD615 Battery Charger charges either 12V, 24V or 48V batteries from a 24V, 48V or 72VDC power source. Other battery voltages up to 56 volts are also available by special order.

BCD800 SERIES DC BATTERY CHARGER

The BCD800 battery charger provides up to 800 watts to charge a 12V or 24V battery system (1 bank) from a 12V source. Both the 12V source and the batteries under charge must share a common ground.

BCD1000 ISOLATED BATTERY CHARGER

The model BCD1000 Battery Charger charges either 12V, 24V or 48V batteries from a 110, 220 or 300VDC power source. Other battery voltages up to 72 volts are also available by special order.

BCD1015 ISOLATED BATTERY CHARGER

The model BCD1015 DC Battery Charger charges either 12V, 24V or 48V batteries from a 24V, 48V or 72VDC power source. Other battery voltages up to 56 volts are also available by special order.

BCD1505 SERIES BATTERY CHARGER

The BCD1505 battery charger provides up to 1350 watts to charge 12, 24, 32 or 48 Volt battery systems from a 110, 250, 300 or 360 Volt DC source. The batteries must share a common ground.
